I was sorry to hear of Mrs Shaw's death.. I remember her so fondly in 1973 when the Samaritan Keep Home first opened.. She was gracious, kind and a wonderful nurse. She was so easy to work for and made all of her employees feel like family. When my Mother died in October 25 1973 Mrs Shaw and Mr Turner went to my graduation ceremony in Syracuse and received my Nurse Practioner certificate for me. She also hosted a shower for me in her home. A very gracious woman. The World and myself are a better place because of Mrs Shaw's presence............

I first met Marge in 1955 in Watertown working at Samaritan. My she was unique as were her parents and family. I have not seen her in a few years and probably the last time was at the Antique show in Clayton. I thanked her indirectly nearly every time I visited my Mother at Samaritan Keep home for 2years as she, Marge, had done such a great job establishing the facility etc. as she was the original Manager. Such wonderful memories . She was unique, and I'm sorry for your loss. Sincerely , Phyllis

Marge was a dear personal friend of mine for as long as I can remember. She and Mary Alice were like mothers to me after my mother passed away at age 10. I can't say enough great things about her. I loved her and she will be remembered and missed.
