Obituary of Arvilla V. Pettit

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; font-size: 12pt;">Wolcott:<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Earning her angel wings, Arvilla passed away on Friday April 4^th, 2014 at the age of 93.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>She is survived by her children; Dixie Castor, Michael (Anne) Pettit, Dale (Jimmy) LaPlaca, and Daniel Pettit; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>She was predeceased by her husband Howard Pettit; daughter Patricia Pettit; and by son Gabriel Russell.</span></p> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; font-size: 12pt;">Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 9^th, 2014 from 1 &ndash; 2 p.m. with her funeral service immediately following at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>Interment will be at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span></span></p> <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; font-size: 12pt;">A special note of appreciation to Arvilla&rsquo;s granddaughter Constance Pettit Whyte, who was raised by Howard and Arvilla, and, all of the special care and love given over a lifetime.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>In lieu of flowers, contributions in Arvilla&rsquo;s memory may be sent to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489, or to Ontario-Yates Hospice &amp; Palliative Care, 756 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva, NY 14456.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span></span></p>
