My deepest Condolences to the Pettit Family. I first met Arvilla or 'Billy' as Howard had introduced her to me at a Christmas Party at Conley's Cove in the early '70's.. I found 'Billy' to be very sweet and sincere person, always with a big smile and a soft voice. A caring person and a hard working woman. As time and years went by I began to know 'Billy' better.. I also learned from 'Billy' as she shared her knowledge and experience in raising sheep. In the early '80's I purchased my 1st sheep from her and continued to raise them for the next 25 years and of course Howard always enjoyed greeting me with "baaaaa baaaaa" and his latest 'sheep' jokes' ,Howard always had the biggest grin and Arvilla the most pleasant smile.. I am truly saddened with the news of her passing. "Billy" was truly a decent and kind human being. Rest in Peace my old 'Friend' ..~
