Obituary of Jane W. White

Sodus White, Jane Jane White, age 78 died April 28th at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic after a struggle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband David and her parents Cornelius and Elizabeth DeRue. She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Christine) White of South Bristol; daughters, Christine Goodwin of Sodus, Celia (Roger) Setzer of Green Ridge, MO and Rebecca (Ron) Hansen of Ardmore, OK; sisters, Eleanor Redder of Sodus, Betty (Frederick) Button of Old Forge, Diane Viniski of Hampton, VA; nieces and nephews. Jane was a teachers aide at Sodus Central School for many years and a former member of the Myers Community Hospital Twig Association. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and from 7-9 at the Norton Funeral Home in Sodus where services will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Come-Unity Center, 4170 Ridge Road, Williamson, NY 14589.
