Obituary of Donald P. Bigness

Born on Staten Island, NY, Donald was a son of the late attorney Reginald P. Bigness and Marion E. Bigness (nee Helt). His family moved to Sackets Harbor, NY in 1949, and he graduated from Hounsfield Central School (Sackets Harbor) in 1958. Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by three brothers: Richard, James and John Bigness and a sister, Mrs. Marion Nye.
Donald had a keen sense of humor and a lifelong love for music and song writing. He especially enjoyed singing and playing guitar with his younger brother James – from their early years with their band “The Termites,” to later life, joining Jim in performances at various locations throughout the North Country.
Funeral arrangements are private with interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Sackets Harbor, NY. Those who wish to remember Donald are invited to donate in his name to a charity of their choice.
