Charles passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Saturday, February 20th, 2016 at the age of 61. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Carol; brother, Robert (Jean) Sampley of Hampton, VA; sister, Rada Bonaparte of Richmond, VA. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 29th from 2 pm- 4 pm at Norton Funeral Home in Wolcott. Military Honors will follow immediately at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Charles to: The American Cancer Society, 1120 S Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620 or The American Heart Association, 25 Circle St #102, Rochester, NY 14607
