Obituary of John "Jack" Sparnon

Jack, aged 82, passed away after a brief illness on October 19, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Ann (Eygnor) Sparnon; his sister Sheila Cooney; his sons Kent (Ruth) Sparnon and Joel (Karen) Sparnon; granddaughters: Alyssa Sparnon, Tammy Shears and Emma Poulin; grandsons: John Henner, Ralph Poulin, Daniel Poulin, Samuel Poulin; great-granddaughters: Bailey Kennedy, Anna Henner; great-grandsons: Brandon Shears, Benjamin Henner, Nathan Henner and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Raymond Sparnon and Sylvia (French) Sparnon. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from North Rose-Wolcott Public Schools as a Speech Therapist. He was a member of the Chorus of the Genessee, the Wolcott First Presbyterian Church, Wolcott Elks Lodge 1763. He was also an avid reader and enjoyed singing. Jack kept a positive attitude and was always upbeat, despite all of life’s obstacles. He will be remembered for his kind nature and will be missed by many. A service celebrating Jack’s life will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 4pm at the First Presbyterian Church 11988 Main Street, Wolcott NY. A graveside service will be Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10am at Huron Evergreen Cemetery 6953 Dutch Street, Wolcott NY.
