Obituary of Carl Gordon Fowler

Sodus: Died suddenly at age 65 on August 3. He is survived by wife, Kim Fowler; mother, Irene Fowler; sons, Chris (Danielle) Fowler, Beau Fowler and David Crane; sister, Penelope Kaine (Bill Vleuten); and 4 grandsons, Lucas, Shane, Joel and Drew. Carl retired from Xerox after 32 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a Past Commander of the Wolcott Legion Post 881, Past Assistant Fire Chief at the Wolcott Fire Department and was a member of Wolcott Elks. He enjoyed spending time with friends playing cards and a cold beer. He will be sadly missed by many good friends.
Interment with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Huron Evergreen Cemetery in Wolcott. Immediately following the graveside service will be a Memorial Service at the Wolcott VFW Post, 13 West Main Street in Wolcott. Donations in Carl’s memory may be directed to the Alton Fire Department, PO Box 2, Alton NY 14413.
