Bob and I send our sincere wishes of deepest sympathy to Germaine's mother, sisters and all her family. She loved you very much and we know how much you will miss her, her spirit, her zest for life and her courage in facing tremendous odds.
Germaine was a great friend and, for the past several years, a wonderful neighbor. We shared many delightful times together, beginning with the AAUW Art Group. I enjoyed knowing her so much and will miss her greatly.
I am sorry that I am not able to be with you on Monday, but we will be leaving on a trip to Ohio for a family observance. You all remain in our thoughts and prayers.
