Geneva: Elizabeth Ternoois, age 101, passed away on Wednesday December 10th at the Geneva Living Center North. Betty is survived by her husband of 43 years, Charles W. Ternoois; daughter Barbara (Martin) Wheeler; daughter-in-law Kathleen Pembroke; son-in-law Edmund Ritter; step-daughter Barbara (Tim) Kesel; step-son Charles F. (Sharon) Ternoois; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Irma Ocke; several nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by daughter Marjory Ritter; son Robert Pembroke; husband Arthur Pembroke; brother John Ocke; and by sister Ethel Keeley.
Betty had been employed at Xerox in Webster.
She enjoyed quilting, and had received several awards for her work; she enjoyed fishing on Oneida Lake, family get togethers, and watching the birds and squirrels in their natural habitat.
Visitation will be held Monday December 15th, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with her funeral service following at Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Interment at Sodus Rural Cemetery.
