Fr. Bob was my mom's cousin. If whom ever is taking care of Fr. Bob's estate could please contact me, it would be much appreciated. We have a cousin in Ireland that is requesting a 16mm film of her family members (long deceased) that Fr. Bob had at his house. She would very much like to have this film.
I will always cherish the family reunions that Fr. Bob hosted at his house on Little Sodus Bay. I have been designated the keeper of the family history. I know Fr. Bob also had a large white sheet of paper with the family tree on it. It that is found, I would very much appreciate having that in my records. Thank you.

The first time I met Father Smith he was Pastor at our church, St Margaret Mary's in Irondequoit. My Dad was in ICU in Buffalo NY and we had 2 small children. I was driving to Buffalo during the week and home on week ends. Father Smith knocked on our door and introduced himself. I said "oh Father, this is not a good time my Dad is in ICU in Buffalo and I am hardly ever home" Father smiled and said " then maybe this is a good time" He was there for me from then on! Father became our families friend and mentor. May he rest in eternal peace. We love you Father Smith. The Hogans

Thank you Father Smith! You have served your friends, your parishioners, and communities so well. I saw you do so many good things for people over the 45 years that I knew you. You had a knack for helping people feel good about themselves no matter their circumstances, for giving people a chance, for showing compassion. You were my father’s best friend, and I know he was one of your best friends. You gave my mother spiritual and emotional strength during the 6 years of her terminal illness that she knew in the beginning was hopeless, a progressive and painful torment that wasted her body until it finally gave out. You helped her to feel good about herself despite the disease. She loved to sing, and you welcomed her into your choir at St. Louis. At a time when she was feeling despair for what she knew was ahead for her, you gave her that solo part to sing at the Christmas Mass. Just like that, you had her spirits high. That stayed with her until the end. Thanks for all you did for us, so glad you were part of our family.
