Sodus: Age 69, passed away on Friday, October 3rd at his residence. Don was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Geneieve Urbanik VerStraete. He is survived by his son Timothy VerStraete, grandchildren Ashley, Danielle, and Matthew; four great grandchildren; sisters Jane Humphries, Shirley (Tom) Mizelle, Irene (Bill) Morrison, and Beverly (Ken) Dippel; several nephews, nieces, one aunt, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday October 17th from 4-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. A celebration of Donald's life will be held Saturday, October 18th beginning at 1 p.m. from the Wolcott American Legion Post #881 on Ridge Road.
