Obituary of Forbes Willett "Bud"

Sodus: Age 89, joined our Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Forbes served in the Army from 1940-1945 and was a World War II veteran.
He is predeceased by his first wife Alice in 1977, and his second wife Bettie (Wilcox) in 2000. He is survived by a sister Velon Banker of Texas, nieces Patricia (Richard) Roegner of Texas, Sandra (Dan) Hollands of Webster, nephew Forbes (Joann) Hildreth of Henrietta; sisters-in-law Dolores (Ken) Kraemer of Ontario, Nancy Amo of Penfield and Barbara (Averill) Verge of Sodus; 17 nieces, nephews, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Forbes was also the godfather to his great nephew Bryan Owen, son of Carrie (Averill) and Robert Owen of Nebraska, as well as other family and friends that may not have been mentioned. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Rosie.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 1 p.m. from Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Sodus Town Ambulance Corps, PO Box 344, Sodus, NY 14551.
