Obituary of Ethel L. Briggs

Wolcott: Went to be with Jesus on June 7th, 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Louise (Steven) McCormick of Rochester; 7 brothers: Ernest Foster of Rochester; Robert (Mary) Foster, Paul (Vivian) Foster, and Harold (Shirley) Foster, all of Cortland; Ralph (Ruth) Foster of Hendersonville, TN; Carl (Mary) Foster of Frederick, MD; and Charles (Faith) Foster of Winston Salem, NC.; 3 sisters: Mary Jane Foster and Ruth Stevens, both of Cortland and Edna (Lynn) Widger of Woodbine, MD.; 2 brothers-in-law: Everett (Carol) Briggs of Sodus Center and Ellis (Faye) Briggs of North Rose; sister-in-law: Barbara Briggs of East Williamson and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Briggs was retired from the Doyle Detective Agency at Xerox. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Wolcott; was a former Sunday school teacher at the North Rose Assembly of God Church and a charter member of the Newark Free Methodist Church.
Friends may call Monday (June 16th) 12:30 – 1:30 at the
Colvin-Robertson-Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott. Funeral services will be held at 1:30, followed by interment at Glenside Cemetery in Wolcott.
