Beatrice A. (Reynolds) Mitchell, 92, passed away Sunday November 26, at the Upstate Hospital in Syracuse.

 

Friends and Family are invited to call Friday, December 1 from noon to 1 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 Church St., Savannah. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Butler-Savannah Cemetery.

 

Beatrice was born on September 24, 1931 in Nichols, NY the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Iva V. (Allen) Reynolds.  Her most prized role was as a doting and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a very strong woman overcoming many health challenges in her life before God called her home.

 

She is survived by her daughters: Vicky Lewis, Joyce (Jaymie) Sheffield; her sons; John (Debbie), Joseph (Jeanie), Mike, Thomas (Sabrina), and Richard Mitchell; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband Robert Mitchell in May of 1978; Sons Dennis and Steven; her daughter Gloria; two grandsons Joseph and Steven Mitchell
