Obituary of Steven Wayne Fuchs

Palmyra: (61 years young) Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 after a courageous two year battle with brain cancer. Survived by his loving wife, Diane; his sons, Thomas and Daniel; their wives Shylo and Aleasha; his grandchildren, Alyvia, Wyatt, Stephany, Mazlyn and Aria Fuchs; brothers, George, Edward and Timothy (Susan) Fuchs; and many close friends and family. Predeceased by his parents, George and Caroline Fuchs; and brothers, Bruse and Richard Fuchs.

Steve’s passion in life was auto racing, and he was a local competitor for over 37 years. His greatest racing accomplishment was winning the 2013 Sportsman Modified Track Championship at Wyoming County International Speedway along with several feature and heat wins throughout the years.  

Friends and Family are invited to call on Saturday February 18th, from 1p-5p at Norton’s Funeral Home, 45 W Main Street, Sodus, NY 14551. An intimate service will follow at the funeral home with private interment at the convenience of the family.
