Obituary of Louise R Temple

Newark, NY - Louise Temple, 80, of Newark passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023 with her youngest daughter, Valerie (Temple) Mattern and her great-granddaughter, Genesis Agostino by her side.

Louise was born on August 3, 1942 to Howard and Claire (Brennan) Rogers in Buffalo, NY. Louise is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Richard; her brother, William (Gerta); her daughter, Benita; her daughter, Patricia; her daughter, Jennifer (Luis); her son, Richard Jr. (Jill); her daughter, Valerie (Brian) as well as her 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and other family and friends who loved her dearly. Louise is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Darlene.

Louise was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother for nearly 63 years. She raised her children and some of her grandchildren in Williamson, NY and even raised a great granddaughter while living in Newark, NY. Louise had a love for books and reading. She was a faithful attendee of Webster Assembly of God Church in Webster, NY for many many years. She loved the Lord and enjoyed listening to Christian radio. She enjoyed cooking for her family. Louise enjoyed camping with the family when the kids were young and enjoyed road trips with them when they were older. She was a faithful giver to many charitable organizations. Her family and her beloved pets meant everything to her. Louise's most favorite memories were made spending time with family.

Louise's family expresses sincere gratitude to all of those who have prayed and thought of Louise often over the years and especially in most recent months. Thank you to the Comfort Care and Hospice teams at Rochester General Hospital for their kindness and genuine caring.

The burial will be private at Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Webster Assembly of God, 708 Hard Road, Webster, NY 14580 or the ASPCA at www.aspca.org.
