Obituary of Ellen Patricia Dinehart

Sodus: Age 85, wife, mother, sister, nurse, friend, grandmother, died peacefully on September 8, 2022. Predeceased by her husband, Richard and granddaughter, Emma Akins. Ellen is survived by her children, Barbara (John) Van Kerkhove, Donna (Bruce) Akins, Naomi Wentz, Kirk (Karen) Dinehart, Dorothea (Michael) Hillis and Mark (Betty Jean) Dinehart; grandchildren, Piper Van Kerkhove, Erin Akins, Greg (Katherine) Akins, Kailey (Eric) Hollenbeck, Abigail Wentz, Rachel, Patrick, Madeline, Jacob and Luke Dinehart, Margaret and Audrey Hillis; great grandchildren, Leo Petrillo, Hannah and Cole Hollenbeck; siblings Joseph Ryan, Jean (Tom) Brook and Agnes (Jack) Forsyth.

Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, September 13^th, 5 – 7pm at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. Funeral Mass at 10:30am, Wednesday, September 14^th at the Church of the Epiphany, St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 105 W Main St, Sodus, NY 14551. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Pultneyville.
