Aunt Joan is one of the greatest people I could have ever known and been lucky enough to know and love. My childhood memories are filled with so much love from her hugs, cooking (I loved her baked ziti) and just getting us all to play good together. Remember when we would come home and she would be laying in a chair sleeping. She would say "I'm not sleeping I am just resting my eyes". In our visits after I had moved away LONG conversations on the phone and later repeated conversations on the phone. No matter what life brought her or us she was always saying things would be better. Aunt Joan to me was ever the honest, uplifting and caregiver and I will miss so much her spirit. Thankfully so much of her greatness lives on in all of us and especially her three gifted children and now her grandchildren and great grandchildren. So in your memory Aunt Joan three candles each for one of your loving children who will always be a light from your heart. God will you please keep her safe and close as you did while she was here with us. Love you all, Dan or as Aunt Joan would sing to me Danny boy.

Thank you Danny ♥️ Mom was always loving on her family members in so many ways. Her heart was big, finding the good in everything. She was the most selfless person, always giving to others and doing for others. Her generosity was straight from her heart. She would always tell me, you don’t hate anything; you might strongly dislike something, but don’t hate. She taught me to find the good even if you don’t think there is any. She will be forever missed. I know she will always be with me.
