Obituary of Charles Michael Griggs

Charles Michael Griggs passed away on Tuesday, April 21.2020. He was predeceased by parents Leonard and Dorothy Morley Griggs. He was born in Oswego, N Y where he grew up before moving to Wolcott, NY after his marriage to Hildegard Kriese in 1966. He leaves two children, Michelle and Michael, daughter-in-law Suzanne Rempe Griggs, grandchildren Matthew, Eva, Rembrandt, Mea and Norah, his twin brother Carl, sister Sandra Griggs Kehoe and many nieces and nephews.

He was an avid WWII buff and a Vietnam Veteran. He served in the Navy aboard the aircraft carrier   “Constellation “. He had a deep respect for our military and our country. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. Loved to go hunting in the Adirondacks and southern tier, with many a tale to tell. He deeply loved his family and friends. His physical body became too much of a burden. May he finally get some rest, free from pain and twinkle with the stars. He will be missed by all.
