To Peggy, Mellissa and all family members, for those we love can never be more than a thought away, and for as long as there's a memory they live on in our hearts forever. Wishing you strength for today and hope for tomorrow. When i hear thunder in the sky, I will think of my cousin David enjoying one of his favorite past times "Bowling" with the rest of our family members watching over you. God bless all.

Saddened to read Dave's death notice in today's issue of the TIMES of WAYNE COUNTY ...sincere condolences to his wife and family.. and his siblings who may remember me from their days in Ontario ... Dave and Don were members of our bowling team at the great old Ontario Bowling Center on East Main Street ... many, many fond memories .. so pleased to see he continued with the bowling for the remainder of his life ...
Dave was also a classmate in our early years at Ontario Elem School, even in our kindergarten class that met in the old South Shore Grange Hall. (upstairs !!), which is now the courtroom for Ontario Town Court at Palmer Hall on Ridge Road !!
Can still remember visiting the Seaman Home on East Main !! I have shared this sad news on my Facebook page with fellow members of our WC Class of 1968 which celebrated 50 years in 2018.... Sincerely ... Jim Swizter, 1291 Centennial Drive, Ontario 14519-9139 ... jeswitz@rochester.rr.com

I am so sorry for your loss. This absolutely breaks my heart. I’ll never forget all the memories at the bowling alley, playing golf in the front yard with David, sitting on my front porch while David sat on his as we yell across the road calling each other silly names. All the times I went to Jugs with you guys. I’ll never forget all the memories we shared. He was a great man. May he rest easy. I wish your family the best of luck. You’re all so strong ❤️ Love you so dearly “booger head”

My sincere condolences to Peggy, David, Melissa and Family. Dave always greeted the kids with a smile and was a big part of the success of the school bowling teams. No one wanted to be sent over to 11&12 for instruction with Dave but looking back I know they were glad they did. He was a good man with a good heart that cared for the kids in our community. Rest in peace my friend.

so sorry to hear of you loss. David was a very nice person to work with at Cherry Lanes. We shared a lot of laughs for many years. David kept that bowling alley running smoothly and had a lot of responsibility which he took seriously. He is now at peace.

I have so many memories of David. Many of them where at the famous Cherry Lanes. We bowled together, danced, joked, and cried together as a family. You and sweet Peggy were there in my very difficult times. I cried when David stated “I wish it was me” instead of our sweet Dacia. That is how much we loved our family. David now has his best friend again along with many other “family” friends. Shine down on us and be free. Love you all. Cathy
