Obituary of June A. Snyder
June went home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 16, 2018 at age 76 peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of late Howard and Irene Gardner on January 15, 1942. Born in North Lawrence, NY. June raised ten children. It would be easier to say “what job didn’t she do?” After her late husband Henry passed away she had to finish raising eight small children on her own. She was such a strong woman and went without to make sure her children’s needs were met. Predeceased by her parents; husband Henry, her significant other of 32 years Robert Queior, sisters Jeannie, Margaret, Alberta; Darlene; brother Donald; children Howard and Susan; & great granddaughter Madison Grace. Survived by her siblings: Larry (Nancy) Gardner, John (Donna) Gardner, Pauline Parmeter, Connie Gardner, Emma (Gasper) Vega & Bonnie Chase, her heartbroken children Keith (Kimberly) Gardner, Henry (Terri DiGregorio) Snyder, Kevin Snyder, Wanda (Bruce) Beal, Juanita (Joseph) Cimineri, Tammy (Russell) Welkley, Robert Snyder, & Precious Snyder, Grandchildren: William (Norma) Snyder, Connie (Paul) Lugo, Julie Thomas, Kim (Armeal) Whitfield, Brandon Snyder, Misty Snyder, Amber Snyder, Josh (Mandy) Lanning, Brittany (Nick) Ocegueda, Lisa Snyder, Zacharie Cimineri, Kristi Welkley, Sarah Welkley, Kelly (Zach) Roder, & Kaitlyn Rood as well as twenty-one beautiful great grandchildren and her beloved cat & companion Molly. She was a fabulous cook and she would bake up the most mouth-watering meals & desserts. Anytime company stopped by at meal time mom made sure they didn’t leave on an empty stomach. She always grew a huge vegetable garden and would can enough vegetables, fruits and jams to last all year long. She was also an avid hunter & fisherman providing meat for her family that way as well. In her younger years she was an avid song writer, singer, and loved “Classic Country” music. Whenever she was able to get away she loved camping and family get togethers, spending as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren and friends.
