Obituary of Jerome H. Purdy

Sodus: Age 59. Jerome passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 4, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Sharron; children, Adam Purdy of Lyons, Sheena (Shane) Goodwin of Clyde, Tammy (Matt) Ryndock of Lyons, Roger (Michele Bennett) LaClair of Clyde, Todd LaClair of NYC; grandchildren, Kaylee, Conner, Kodee, Braxton, Alex, Maryah, Taylor, Chace, Skylar, Hailey; siblings, Eugene (Jessica) Sharp of N. Rose, Laurie (David) Hammond of Lyons, Joe (Betty) Purdy of Clyde, Lena Horton of N. Carolina, Jeff (Jackie) Purdy of Lyons, Jesse Purdy of Williamson; daughter-in-law, Pamela LaClair of Savannah; special friends, Diane & Kevin Mckeon and Doris & John Schinsing; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, James; mother Liela Sharp and step-father Gerald Sharp; brothers Jon and James Jr.

Friends and family are invited to call 3pm-5pm, Wednesday, November 8th, 2017 at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main St., Sodus, NY 14551. A memorial service will be the same day at 5:30pm at the First United Presbyterian Church of Sodus.
