Morton, Laura M.
Laura passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, NY at age 79. Laura was the daughter of the late Harry and Aida Morton. She is survived by her sons Delano Richard (Lauri) Sawyer and Douglas Robert (Nancy) Sawyer. Her grandchildren: Jeremy (Andrea) Sawyer, Jennifer (Paul) Rothfuss, Jedediah (Samantha) Sawyer, Nola Sawyer and Jillian (Jason) Becker. Her great-grandchildren: Dominic and Ashton Sawyer, Alona and Nolan Sawyer, Liam and Nathan Rothfuss, and Jaejae and Joslynn Becker.
Laura was a life long care-giver and she loved her cats. She had worked as a therapy aide at Newark Developmental Center. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 2nd at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main St., Sodus, NY from 12-2 pm with a memorial service at 2 pm. Interment will follow at Sodus Rural Cemetery.
