George R. Lent, 81, of Sodus, passed away on October 23rd, 2016 at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. George is predeceased by his parents; child Ronnie; grandchildren Josh and Max; two brothers Norman and David; and sister Carol. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; sister Valerie; brother Jim; children Ritchie, Starr Mullie, Chris (Gabriella), Carl (Tammy), Bobby Hodgson, Jody Buzzell-Rolston (David), John Buzzell (Helen), Shannon Clingerman (Leslie), many beloved grandchildren; Mary and Kathryn, David, Georgina and Vivienne, Ashley, Nick and Jessica, Ronald and Eric, Laura and Abby, Morgan, Trenton and Kristarra; great grandchildren; sister in law Sandra Kirin; brother in laws Gary (Katie) and Sonny Featherly; nieces, nephews and friends. George was an avid outdoors man. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and being in the woods. George touched a lot of lives. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and friendly manner.
As he wished there will be no service. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Lung Foundation or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be expressed online at hsnorton.com.
