South Butler/Savannah, New York Reed, Marian E. Marian E. Reed, 92, of South Butler passed away on October 15th, 2016 surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her husband George Reed; brother George Jones and parents Willard and Flora Jones. She is survived by her son John (Mary) Reed of Newark, NY; grandchildren Brandon and Christopher Reed; great grandchildren Timothy, Tyrell, Natalie and Ayden; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of the Savannah New York Silver Stars and the South Butler Golden Friends. Marian was a member of the South Butler Methodist Church. She’s a Charter Member of the South Butler Fire Department Lady’s Auxiliary. Friends may call on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 from 11am-1pm at Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford St., in Wolcott where a funeral service will be held at 1pm immediately following calling hours. A graveside committal will be held at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the South Butler Fire Department, PO Box 153, South Butler, NY 13154.
