Wolcott: David B. Frank, age 72, passed away on January 13th at the Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. Born March 8, 1941 in East Otto, NY, he was the son of Willard and Doris Harvey Frank. David lived most of his adult life in the Wayne County area. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was an outdoor enthusiast.
David is survived by his wife and companion of 43 years Marget “Midge” Frank; children Bill (Velma) Frank of Wolcott, Babette Frank of Clyde, Denise (Mike) Baldwin of Savannah, David Frank (Chris Noble) of Red Creek, Janine (Alan) Smith of North Rose, Ira (Becky) Frank of Clyde; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Fran (Jim) Williams of Rixford, PA, Mary Frank of Wolcott; brother Hiram (Linda) Frank of Wolcott; many step-grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents; sisters Anna, Cora and Violet; brothers Jake, Alford, Bill, and Clark “Poncho”; and by grandson Jacob Frank.
Visitation will be held on Sunday January 19th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott. His funeral will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday from the funeral home. Interment will be at the York Settlement Cemetery. Immediately following there will be a reception for family and friends at the Rose Grange on Rt 414 (Main St) in Rose.
