Spring Lake: Passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday September 27th, age 81. Colleen was predeceased by her husband Edwin Douglas Grunder in 2003, and by great granddaughter Leela Rae Villarreal. She is survived by her children Edwin (Becky) Grunder Jr. of Spring Lake, Jolyn (Mark) Duff of Valley Center, CA, Tonya Grunder of Spring Lake and Leann Grunder of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren Erica Grunder, Erech Grunder, Cameron Duff, Byron Duff, and Aubree Villarreal; sisters Beverly (Harold “Bud”) Howen of Nevada and Patricia (Kenny) Goff of California; brother Darrell Pipgrass of Kentucky; one aunt Nora Lemple of Wisconsin; numerous nieces and nephews.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Colleen served at Camp Gordon in Georgia, and later at the Pentagon where she was attached to the Signal Corps.
Local services will not be observed. Interment at the convenience of her family will be in Wisconsin, with Military Honors. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Savannah.
