Wolcott: Dorothy E. Van Vleck passed away on August 13, 2013. Dorothy is survived by her children Vaughn (Jay) Morris, Dale (Carol) Van Vleck and Mark Van Vleck. Dorothy was loved by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed for the time she spent playing games with them. She was predeceased by her husband Vic, son Kim, sisters Jennie Van Vleck, Marguarite Henecke, Grace Larkin, and brothers George, Fred and Harold Larkin.
Born in Wolcott, she was the daughter of the late William Larkin and Melvina Flint. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of the Wolcott area, and was a former member of the Wolcott Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 18th from 1-3 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott, where her funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at the Butler Center Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Wolcott Fire Department.
