Savannah: Age 78, formerly of Syracuse, suddenly on Tuesday March 26th. Dolores is survived by her children Theresa (Gary) King, Karen Lapp, Lori (Tom) Whitcomb, Chet (Tammy) Sakowski, Michael, Thomas, Timothy Sakowski, and Susan Sakowski (Mark Ratliff); 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Leo Maholick; sister Lorraine (Leo) McCarthy; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Chester in 2012, and by her brother Henry.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church St. (Rt 31) in Savannah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Church, Grand Avenue in Savannah. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Clyde. Donations in memory of Dolores may be sent to the Savannah Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Squad.
