Sodus Center: Passed away on Thursday February 7th, age 77 following a brief illness. Ray is survived by his loving wife Linda; children Rosemarie Cote, Tammy (Joseph) House, John (Amy) Smith and Pamela (Dexter) Robinson; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister June Forgones; aunt and uncle Mary & John Milliman; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ray was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Mildred Milliman Smith; twin sisters at birth and his brother William “Billy”.
Ray was a long time employee of Seneca Foods in Williamson, was an avid fisherman and gardener. Ray’s family will gather for a celebration of his life on Monday February 11th, 3 p.m. at the Sodus Center Fire Department. Private burial was held at the Baptist Rural Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ray may be sent to the Sodus Center Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 246, Sodus, NY 14551. Arrangements: Norton Funeral Home of Sodus.
