Wolcott: Passed away at home, Thursday evening October 11th in her 95th year. Irene is survived by her daughter Penelope Kaine (Bill Vleuten) of Redfield, NY; granddaughter Wendy (Todd) Fuller of Camden, NY , grandsons Brock Kaine, Chris Fowler and Beau Fowler; great-grandchildren Austin, Keaton and Dayton Fuller, Shane, Joel, Lucas and Drew Fowler; niece Barbara Briscese and other nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband Gordon T. Fowler, son Carl G. Fowler, sisters Thelma Bauer and Lois Van Vleck, brothers Vic and Hayes Van Vleck; special caregivers Donna Kier, Dora Foster, Stacey Weiss and Tammy Thrash.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday October 16th from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment will be at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Irene’s family has requested that you consider a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Rochester and Finger Lakes Region
