I am sorry to hear this sad news. She was very loved by so many in the UCC community and others. Our prayers are with the family who will miss her dearly as she makes this transition to spirit world. She must have accomplished what she was here to do to be called home so quickly. God bless.

It was my humble honor and privilege to be Jackie's Pastor during the end of her seminary studies, Ordination and call to Gasport Covenant UCC. She was perhaps one of the hardest working individuals I have ever met. She cared deeply about others and was profoundly committed to the church she lovingly served for 8 years. I also had the joy to know her as a daughter to Rosalie, a proud mother of her children, and the quintessential "Grandma." I also had the experienced her as a colleague with a passion for the love and acceptance of all. Most of all she was a devout and loyal friend never wavering through the "good...difficult and in between times." She was looking forward to spending much more time with family and friends following her retirement...and I am certain that her beaming smile and love are shining forth on us all as she continues to serve God from the "Great Cloud of Witnesses"
Go now in peace faithful friend of God as you take our love into paradise.....God's Holy Angels welcomed you home to the wide waiting arms of Our God.
With Much Love,
Rev Shirley Pudney Eilers

As a classmate of Jackie's at CRCDS and later as her colleague in the Western Association, I always admired her great spirit and her pastoral heart. This is a great loss to her church and to all those who were so close to her. I wish all of you God's comfort and peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the death of Jackie. Many times we shared a ride to committee meetings, or had lunch together, and talked about our cats.
Jackie will be remembered by me as a woman who loved life and lived it centered in God as well as with enthusiasm, compassion, and a love for her family and friends.
May God bless you and embrace you in your tears and in your laughter as you remember Jackie and all she meant to you in your life

To all of Jackie's family and friends,
Jackie was one of the kindest and caring people I have had the privilege of knowing. She cared for my mother-in-law as a nurse among countless others. Then I had the privilege of walking with her in her journey to answer God's call to ordained ministry in the United Church of Christ.
I have no doubt when Jackie saw our Lord face to face, she heard those words, "Well done thy good and faithful servant."
Goodbye for now, dear friend.
