Obituary of John Buzzell

Albion Michigan: Age 20, suddenly on Tuesday June 19th, following a severe asthmatic episode. Max is survived by his parents John and Helen Buzzell; his sister Morgan; grandparents Phyllis and George Lent, Karen Buzzell, Jim and Mary Selee; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by Grandfather Jack Buzzell and by Grandmother Helen Selee. Visitation will not be observed. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Max will be held Saturday, June 23rd, 11 a.m. at the Sodus Point United Methodist Church. Immediately following the Memorial Service, there will be a lunch at the Sodus Point Junior Sailing Association, 7433 Clover Street in Sodus Point. Interment will be private. Max was a 2010 graduate from Marshall High School. He had just completed his sophomore year at Western Michigan University, where he was a business major. Max was also race captain of the Western Michigan University sailing team. He was a friend to many and was a first rate sailor. Max learned the love of the family at Sodus Bay Junior Sailing Association where he was starting his third year as a counselor. Max gave the ultimate gift by becoming an organ and tissue donor.
