Sodus: Age 85 of Red Mill Road, passed away suddenly on June 11, 2012 after a brief illness. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Robert on April 14th. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy (Rick) Fowler and Lori (Tom) Thurston; 4 grandchildren: Chad (Jennifer) Fowler, Casey (Mark) Labuzeta, Stephanie (David) Crittenden, Christopher (Marcy Coe) Thurston; great-grandson Andrew Labuzeta, great-granddaughter Genevieve Crittenden; sister Marilyn Burcroff and sister-in-law Patricia (Don) Bierer; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday 7-9 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Alton Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Sodus Town Ambulance Corp. P.O. Box 344, Sodus, NY 14551.
