Savannah: Arthur Henry Quackenbush, age 88 passed away on February 15, 2012 at Geneva General Hospital following a brief illness. The son of Burt and Minnie Quackenbush, he was born in Savannah in 1923. Alfred is survived by his wife Jane Quackenbush; brothers Alfred and Martin Quackenbush both of Newark; step-son Richard Daley of Savannah; daughter-in-law June Ward of Rochester; in-laws Doug and Marj Myers of Addison, Betty Benedict of Beaver Dams, Stuart Myers of Beaver Dams, Dorothy Myers of Avon, and many friends.
A funeral service for Arthur was held on Saturday February 25th at the Norton Funeral Home in Savannah. Interment will be private.
