Bonnie Speers, age 54 went home to be with the Lord, on February 21st after a long battle with cancer and MS. She is pre-deceased by her father Lawrence Huff, and Mother-in-law Jean Speers. She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 26 years Stanley Speers; son Todd (Kari) Speers; mother Helen Huff; father-in-law Donald Speers; sister Sylvia (David) Lyon; several cousins and other family members.
Bonnie was a very loving wife and mother, very skilled homemaker and volunteered her knowledge to whoever would listen. In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to make donations in Bonnie’s memory to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Bonnie’s funeral will be held at the conclusion of visitation. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
