I also served with Todd with the 403rd Civil Affairs Company in Desert Storm. Todd was always a Officer and a Gentleman, whether it was serving his country or working with his friends. A good man lost too soon.

I have often thought of Todd through the years because of the impression he left with me during Desert Storm. His assignment during the war was challenging to say the least, but he performed it cheerfully and well. It was a privilege to have him in my command and he will be remembered always. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss.

Todd will always have a place in my soldier's heart. He was a soldier and a former Marine which was a good thing since we were stationed with Marines during the first Gulf War (Desert Storm). Todd was rock steady, self-assured and very competent and confident in the way he did things, and the way that he viewed life.. You could always count on Todd to do the right thing. Over the tears I have often thought of Todd and his contributions to the 403rd Civil Affairs Company. On one of my assignments after the 403rd I had the opportunity to travel up and down route 104 and I passed his NYS Trooper HQ in Wocott, so I often thought of Todd. The former members and I have lost a good friend and soldier! But Todd is now saying to us the infantryman's "Follow Me!" My thoughts and parers are with this great fellow soldier.

As a fellow New York State Trooper and Civil Affairs Soldier, it is easy to tell you that Todd was respected. He shared a warm smile when needed, he was a protector when required, and efficiently completed tasks when called to duty. I am proud to have been in his circle.

I got to know Todd during our Gulf War deployment, a most challenging time. Todd was a steady leader and companion throughout; I'm a better person for knowing him.
My condolences to Todd's family and friends.

Todd was a great person... I remember when he was in Carl Nye Scout Troop and my dad worked with Carl for years. He was a great man and christian. He was respected and loved by many people. His parents were so proud of him. His mom and I talk about him a lot when we work together at the church.... God Bless the family at this time and my prayers are with you...

We send our deepest condolences to all of Todd's family. Todd was just the nicest guy to talk with. He had alot of insight into the world around him. If he did not know the answer, he would research until he did. Whether it be the world's political problems or my own inquiry as to the ingredients of a pumpkin pie...he would come up with the answer. Smile when you think of him. It is at those times that he is closest to you!
